About me

I am an ecologist and remote sensing scientist working in the Biospheric Sciences Laboratory at NASA/STC at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.

I completed my PhD in the Dee Lab in the Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at University of Colorado, Boulder, where I studied the impacts of global change on plant communities and ecosystem functioning in a variety of systems, including 1) drought effects on global grasslands, and 2) impacts of invasive alien trees in the fynbos biome of South Africa.

I leverage remote sensing to map and explore variation in diversity and plant traits across space and time, and am excited about applications of remote sensing for ecology, conservation and biodiversity science!
